La piste d’aéroport vue du ciel se colore en fonction des différents moments que l’on peut être amené à passer dans ce lieu singulier : aurore, soir et nuit. Signé Dorothée Meilichzon, ce tissu brodé coton fait partie d’une collection technique inspirée par l’aviation et commandée par les aéroports de Paris. L’influence de l’école du Bahaus n’est pas loin, avec l’évocation d’un tracé industriel ou architectural qui devient éminemment décoratif. Les notions de graphisme musical quant à elles nous rapprochent des peintres Kandinsky et Mondrian.
Industrial designer, trained in France and the United States, named creator of the year 2015 by the Maison & Objet trade fair, Dorothée Meilichzon is all the talk in the decoration world. Creator of friendly living spaces, unusual mixes, trend spotter, Dorothée founded the CHZON agency and reinvents the interiors of bars and restaurants in Paris, London, New York and Ibiza (Hôtel des Grands Boulevards, Henrietta Hôtel, l Hotel Bachaumont, Menorca Experimental, that of Ibiza or Venice…) by combining styles, colors, patterns and eras.
